Hi guys

I recently reformatted my computer and have a little problem with my dvd drive. It is using an inbuilt windows driver and operates fine, but in the taskbar, the little icon to safely remove hardware is constantly up and is prompting to remove the dvd drive. Any clues on how i can get rid of this?

Thanks heaps
Michael

It's always a good idea to update your drivers. Go to the CD Drive manufacturer's website, and download the latest drivers for your drive model. I'm not sure if it will make the Safely Remove Hardware button go away, but at least your drive is updated.
