Hi

My autocomplete does not seem to be working. I have checked the boxes in tools, internet options, content, auto complete etc. (I have just had another look and they're still checked), but I am still having to type everything in.

HEEEEELP!!!!

Cheers

Hi Hary

Thanks for your response. I have worked my way through the list of options.

1. Autocomplete is turned on
2. Protected storage is running
3. Register RSABase.dll - I was unable to access this
4. Tried new user and had same problem

I am also having a lot of screensaver freezes and cannot disable this either. When I choose "none" and apply, it automatically resets to "Windows XP".

I am going to try a Windows repair and if that doesn't work then a re-format.

Thanks for your help.

If you are using IE 6, take a look at their forum, if not 6 other versions are also shown on the left hand side.

Search for : auto complete ... there are some solutions to this including clearing temporary internet files, switching off auto complete, restarting, and then switching it back on again.

You will need the Net passport to login forum
