i think there is something wrong cos no matter which program i use, windows media playr or wot eva my DVD's dont seem to work at the moment. they used to as well. but its having probs reconising the copywrite thing on it


it says
"Windows Media Player cannot play the DVD because a problem occurred with digital copyright protection."


and on clickin more info button

"C00D1163: A problem occurred with digital copyright protection"

cheers, foun the problem, its a file called mpgdec.ax but the prob is to get rid of it u have to goo start>run which for some reason i dont have :S:S:S

Right click the taskbar, click properties, start menu, customise, advanced, check there is a tick in run, click apply

ah ok, yea i did that n i uninstaled that file or woteva by doing that run thing but it came back tho

Can you right click the file, click explore

Or, open with, open with notepad

Create a folder in my documents, copy the file to it, check they are the same size

Open the original one in notepad, edit it anyhow, delete bits, add bits, click save, reboot

If you get errors, delete it and put the copy in

nope the still having the same prob, altho im sure this is a problem file, could there be another file somewhere effecting it
