one of the cards on my board started rattling as they were two close to each other
moved one to the spare slot that had more room

of my 2 front usb ports, only 1 has ever worked, though both are plugged in
i pulled the cable out of 1 as it looked like they werent inserted properly

didnt realise it was 4 separate cables

i pulled the ones for usb1 which was the one that did work

need to know which cables go in which of the 9 slots

motherboard manual doesnt help much
there is a line of 4, above a 5 in the port on the board

with 4 cables +/- on each , red, white, green and black

you may need to read both the motherboard manual and the case manual (if the front usb ports came with the case) together...because...i just dled the manual for your motherboard ( http://www.ecs.com.t...tailName=Manual ) and in the section about the front usb header (page 24 of the pdf aquired from above)...the information would be usefull IF and only IF you knew which of those cables was which...

i think i could probably work it out if i knew what the board manual was going on about in terms of where pin 1 starts and where pin 10 is for each usb, as i will just mirror the colours on the port where i havent taken the cables out

from what i saw in the manual pin one is the bottom left pin and pin 9 is the pin that doesn't exist (the usb header is sort of like...a rectangle with one corner missing) pin 10 seems to be directly above pin 9

so in theory from right to left the bottom row sould be pin 1, 3, 5, 7, 9
and the top row should be pin 2, 4, 6, 8, 10
