Have an XP operating system that keeps giving me popups that tell me ( MpfService.exe- Corrupt File), and then wants me to run Chkdsk utility. Its getting pretty frustrating. System gets very slow on bootup. Any suggestions on what I can do to fix this? These popups are getting pretty annoying. Help please! :whistling:

I kind of figured that was the mcaffee firewall but I'm gettting two other messages that say these are corrupt windows files. One is unspecified and the other says its explorer.exe. Can you tell me what I need to do to correct this?
