Im trying to stream music from my computer on my xbox 360. Xbox live works on the 360 however it cannot find any computers connected to it. I have downloaded & installed Windows Media Connect on my computer & enabled file sharing in it. Windows Media Connect shows under 'devices' an xbox 360 which means it is detecting the 360 but the 360 doesn't locate the computer. I am using Comodo Personal Firewall & all the necessary ports have been opened in that. Does anyone know why this is not working & how it may work ? I am using Windows XP Home Edition & my computer is under the workgroup MSHOME.

Try completely disabling the firewall and try connecting again.

Tried everything with the software installed. I got it to work finally & this is what I did.
1. Uninstalled Windows Media Connect
2. Restarted the computer
3. Disableb firewall, reinstalled Windows Media Connect
4. Restarted computer & everything was working perfectly fine.
