recently an old p3 pc came in [only the cpu;no monitor, keyboard etc] that runs windows me. the guy [my cousin] gave it to me saying that its “busted”, a “huge pain in the ---” and “its like a question in an examination for hardware pros”. he does not have ny CDs related to it, he wants to have it “cleaned up” and “up and runnin like it used to be”. after discussing, we decided that we'll have win 98se installed onto it plus replace some of its hardware. but the first problem that we faced was how do we know wat the hardware is, cuz after installing the OS we will need certain drivers for the mainboard, VGA etc. so can nyone tell me if there is a program available that checks ur pc n tells u everything thats on it? i will keep investigating n posting results, plus if required i'll also get some pics.
thanks a bunch n plz reply fast.
