Hello i am having trouble loading xp service pack 2,i lost my windows xp prof. cd and when i had someone round to repair my m/c a while ago he installed xp prof. but now when i try to put back service pack 2 it says something about the key might not be genuine,does anyone know how to install service pack 2 which installs to my pc without a check?

If they re-installed windows, the version of Windows was probably a pirated copy.
You may have to buy a new copy of Windows XP. Microsoft is really cuttiing down on piracy.
I'm not sure if we can assist you on this matter without a genuine copy of windows. If you still have your original Cd-key, you may be able to use it, I think that is legal.
