Attacking Firewall Constantly

Hello All,

Lately (for the past month or so) there has been a constant series of alerts from my firewall. This is the message:

The firewall has blocked Internet access to your computer [NetBIOS Name] from [NetBIOS Name].

Its gotten more and more annoying lately, and sometimes happens every ten or twenty minutes at night. I didn't download anything new or anything like that. I only connect online with people I already know and trust, and they dont have this problem. For awhile I refeshed my IP address and it stopped for a few days but now it wont end no matter what. I'm on a wireless internet and my computer is up to date in terms of firewall protection and all antivirus and that stuff.

What should I do? I'm glad its stopping the attack but this is getting very annoying. Also, I'm hoping I posted this in the right place. If not, I'm sorry!

Hey there Verbannen, welcome to Geeks To Go Forums.

It sounds like you may be infected with malware.

So please read this: Read This Before Posting A Hijackthis Log (Click on the link)

That will give you steps that will help you clean up 70% of the problems yourself. Then please download "Hijackthis" and run Hijackthis with log. Save the log file here: Malware Removal - HiJackThis Logs Go Here

When you have followed all these steps. A Geeks To Go Staff Member will help you fix your problem.

(Note: Please be patient, the "Malware Forum" is a very busy place and a two or three day wait is not unusual.)

Thank you and goodluck. :whistling:
