My home page keeps getting changed to res://shdocpe.dll/blank.htm, and i cant change it. I go to google to change that to my homepage, but its changed back in an instant. I have tried Ad-aware, Spybot: S & D, and CWShredder, but none of those seemed to help. i hope someone here can help me.

You have a trojan.

To reset your restore points, please note that you will need to log into your computer with an account which has full administrator access. You will know if the account has administrator access because you will be able to see the System Restore tab. If the tab is missing, you are logged in under a limited account.

(Windows XP)
1. Turn off System Restore.
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
Check Turn off System Restore.
Click Apply, and then click OK.

2. Reboot.

3. Turn ON System Restore.
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
UN-Check *Turn off System Restore*.
Click Apply, and then click OK.

i went to the housecall,it found 4 virus's, and during the housecall scan AVG found 2 virus's that i deleted. i downloaded The Cleaner, but while that was happining Ad-watch found 8 things that was trying to change my registry. The Sleaner ended up finding one thing, which i deleted. heres my new HiJackThis log:

Disable adwatch. It will interfere with the fix. Do the scans again with adwatch disabled.

We can definitely help you, but first you need to help us. The first step in this process is to apply Service Pack 1a for Windows XP. Without this update, you're wide open to re-infection, and we're both just wasting our time.
