I have attempted to list this problem on the Microsoft Community website.
For some reason, though, I am not receiving verfication e-mail messages
(which are required for posting messages) from Microsoft. Hence, I am unable
to post messages.

My System: Windows XP Home Edition,
Computer: PC, P4

Browsers: Microsoft IE 7.3 Beta and Netscape 8.1

Problem: Unable to consistently access e-mail in IE 7.3 beta and Netscape 8.1.
When attempting to open e-mails, the system keeps "hanging," showing pretty
much a full white blank screen while waiting for messages to appear.
This happens in both browsers.
e-mails eventually appear after waiting two to three minutes.
Please note: This problem began before I downloaded IE 7.3 beta
This problem appears to be happening only when I connect to the Internet;
everything on my hard drive works okay.

WHAT I'VE DONE SO FAR:
Turned off Popup Blocker
Turned off Phishing Filter
Set security to Low
Ran Anti-Virus program; no virus found.
Ran Anti-Spyware programs (SpywareBot, Ad-Aware, ewido);
all spyware removed.

POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS (?):
Maybe a firewall is causing the system to "hang."
Can someone tell me how to turn off the firewalls in IE 7.3 beta and Netscape?
Also, perhaps there are some other browser filter settings turned on that I don't know about...???
Download and install IE 6.0. Can someone send me a link for this?
I checked the Microsoft website, but only see security patches, etc., for IE 6.0;
nowhere do I see a link for downloading the full version.
