install.log file+ regedit problem

hi was just having a clear up in add/remove programs and i keep getting that message saying could not open INSTALL.LOG FILE and it wont let me do anything to remove it,,,

also when i go to the registry ie regedit in the run box, its not going there just a blank black C: dialogue box? any ideas?

you may have to reinstall the program

some programs require that you return back to there site to uninstall there product

ok what about the non working registry? just the c: box? any ideas on that 1>

you mean to say when you click on run a black box appears

instead of a normal biege box with a search bar

or when you type in regedit you get a black dialog box

did you try typing cmd in the run box

then type in regedit then enter see if that works

ok i'll try that , when i typed cmd in the run box i also got the black box which when u try to close it , its goes not responding

you can force them to close by using your task bar

Ctrl Alt and delete...press these keys and highlight cmd process then click on end process

when you end process click on applications
