Hi there.

Two wireless laptops in a home office. Ran network set up wizards on both machines. Comp#1 sees the shared documents folder for comp#2. Comp#2 doesn't recognize the network or the workgroup. Also when running the wireless network wizard I get get an error when entering the ssid. "One or more characters in invalid, please reenter ssid with a ....etc" I'm entering the exact same name as comp#1 and the name as per the wireless network settings sheet genereated by comp#2.

Any ideas?

Hi. Do you have any security features such as MAC address filters, etc. running on the router? A network key (which is encrypted)? Sadly, when you make these, I have found it very hard to enter the network with the Microsoft products available. Keep in touch.
