hey guys , first post..

Just got a prob with loading up any files from floppy disks and actually accessing my USB stick/pen.

Floppy - When i open the floppy disk in my computer the disk opens up and the files are viewable as in you can see the files on the disk. Once you try to open them the floppy disk goes crazy and wont actually open them but keeps stalling trying to. making the dreaded repetative floppy disk drive noise we all know. i have to go to task manager to stop it and thats the end of that.

what do i do?

USB - I have an extra usb set attached to motherboard. When i go to open my usb stick via this hub my computer crashes and i cant access any files on this storage device either. these usb sockets are enabled via the bios...

What do i do?

any help much appreciated.

oh yeah ... i changed the case i short while back ... since then i have been experiencing these problems maybe i have not connected somethin right... or the correct way/position ... i dont know ;)

Thanks - sorry for the essay! :tazz:

k i looked into it n checked some stuff....

it looks like my comp is havin problems loading up any storage devices as when i tried to load up the usb via a different socket the same problem occurred whilst other devices worked successfully.

The usb storage device wont load and the floppy disks dont work. CD-ROMs seem to be fine though. Both problems with the USB and the floppy cause crashing...

Thanks...
