Any Other Way Than EOT to show custom fonts?

Yeah, EOT only works in IE. [bleep] that.
What else is there?

There isn't, AFAIK. This is another Internet Explorer only technology., which isn't supported by other browsers because it's another potential security hole.

Just out of interest, why are you not able to use an image instead of a text-based logo?

Well w3c is all like "If your logo is only text, avoid using images".
