On this past Saturday I was us unable to access the MSN website. I use sbc/yahoo dsl as my ISP and can access all other websites except MSN. The task progress bar goes almost to the end (but not all the way) and then nothing.

I have researched MS KB articles and it could be a DNS cache issue?

Has anyone had an instance of this happening? Could it be the cache?

Oh, yes, I can access the microsoft web site. There was another website that did the same thing: dailybulletin.com, a news site.

No, I have not tried another browser. The MSN website issue is not a critical item, but it concerns me that it could be an indication of another problem.

ok try using Firefox and see if it works. If it does then its something wrong with IE. If it doesnt then its something else.

I finally got it to work. I used a program called cleancache and cleared cache. It seems there was some registry issues, too. I did a registry scan with registrybooster, cleaned things up and I can now access msn.

one of these must have fixed my issues.

thanks for your assistance!
