I am attempting to install a Leadtek TV2000 XP Expert card. The problem is I can't find an aux or audio connector on my board. I have a Vaio PCV-RS431X. Sony is NO Help. They can't even tell me where to look. Leadtek said that if I have no available connectors I will have to buy a sound card and connect to that. I currently have on board sound, no card. My computer has both a cd and dvd writer. If I go wth the sound card what connectors will I need on the card to connect my cd/dvd drives and the tv card? Here is a link to Leadteks
tutorial install pics. May help to illustrate what I am trying to do. Actually quite good. http://www.leadtek.c...pert_112204.pdf

Hi and welcome to Geeks to Go. Go to http://www.majorgeek...tion_d4181.html and get Everest free. Run that. It will tell you all about your system. Check the mother board information to identify your motherboard make/model. Then go to the motherboard manufacturers site and get a manual for it. It should tell you about any aux/audio connections on the board.
