CD-DVD Rom Problems

Would someone please check over my HJT list...my CD-DVD ROM will not recognize that a disk is in it. I've tried virus scan, and all the spyware scans. I've called DELL support, I've chatted with DELL online support. I have all Windows updates. I've gone into Device Drive and uninstalled the driver and reinstalled the drive. DELL support had me try to delete the IDE controllers because Intel Storage controllers & Primary IDE Channel are listed twice. I uninstall them, but they keep coming back double. Thought maybe there is something on the HJT list that you would see that's causing my problem. After updating the firmware the disk will now start up a game (to its title page) then a message comes up saying cannot locate CD rom, please insert disk and try again.

I've just finished a scan on Housecall...nothing shows up there either. Please help!
