My processor gets clocked at only 800mhz no matter what I do, even when I try to run games, Firefox or movies according to CpuZ. The computer never speeds up so things start to get laggy, especially in 3d Games :whistling: .

Tried SpeedSwitchXP - nothing.
Changed Power Options to Home/Office - nothing.
SpeedStep On or Off - nothing.
I8kfangui is running and keeps the computer at around 95 - 110 C, also recording CPU Speed at 800 mhz.
Updated BIOS and drivers - nothing.

Intel Pentium M Processor 1.86ghz
1.25GB RAM

Hi, which kind of video graphics do you have? Are you clean of Spyware and other internet-borne nasties?
