how do i get my speaker icon back at the bottom of my computer where the little clock is ?

Click start, control panel, sounds and speech, sounds and audio, tick place volume icon in the taskbar, click apply

If you have a blue circle with a white arrow, click it to see if it is hidden

right click on your task bar or your start click on properties click on task bar tab click on customize scroll until you see the speaker or volume icon click drop menu click always show then click ok then apply then ok and it should show down on your task bar

did you click always show



on your task bar were theres a white arrow in a blue circle click on that it should be there

just click on the speaker and it should show

or just restart your computer and see if that works

recheck every thing over from your control panel then check properties in task bar maybe you missed something if all else fails it could be some alittle more serious

did you try a system restore
find a restore point when your computer was working fine with the icon in the tray

Ok im baffled guess we will wait for a moderator kieth should be back or even wannab1 or anyone of them they are good

i just wanted to try the basics ill do some more research though
