I have selected the option to display the power meter on the task bar, but it I only get a message when its about to go flat.

Any thoughts

PS I have receintly done a repair on the operating system, but everything else seems to work. The laptop is running XP SP2 and is completely updated.

thanks in advance

Welcome to Geekstogo!

My first thing is, is there an arrow down by the clock pointing to the left?
