I'm running windows XP, and use About: Blank as my IE start page. Recently my blank page has become a "Search the Web" page, while still being listed as "About: Blank" in the address bar. I think I have the registry key for my home page marked as read only as well, to prevent annoying startup page changes. Any help with this problem is appreciated.

Also as a side note, I have a problem with the BullsEye Network. They download junk into a folder in my program files directory. I emptied the folder and removed all permissions except read and list contents, is there anything I can do more permanent?

I found a link to cleanup in another post, and it took care of the Search the Web issue.
