p.s. Several other spyware/adware bots continually pop back up after I spybot them too, but all the others can at least be fixed by the scanner. They just strangely reappear. My biggest concern is cmdService, because I've tried everything to dispose of it.

Again, thanks.

Hi and welcome to GeeksToGo! My name is Sam and I will be helping you. :whistling:

Please download ComboFix and save it to your desktop.
Double click combofix.exe and follow the prompts.
When it's done running it will produce a log for you. Please post that log in your next reply.

Important Note - Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall.

================

I tried to delete the folder named: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Tasks, but I get an error. Access is denied, make sure its not write-protected or in use. Should I be deleting this folder in safe mode?

================

Also, I already scanned my computer with Ewido Anti-spyware and included my safe-mode log of the scan in my initial post above. Do you need me to rescan it? I ask because that initial scan took me two hours. Slow computer, faulty user. ;p

================

Thanks further!

Yes, try it in safe mode.

Instead of doing a full scan with Ewido, have it scan just the C:\Windows folder.
It should be much quicker for you and still give us an idea of anything that is still hiding.
