you can stop it at startup

GO START>>RUN>>TYPE IN msconfig CLICK OK GO TO START-UP

UNCHECK ONE AT A TIME REBOOT AFTER EACH UNCHECK UNTIL IT DOESNT REAPPEAR

DEPENDING ON HOW MANY START-UPS YOU HAVE ON THE LIST IT COULD TAKE AWHILE

IF YOUR FAMILIAR WITH CERTAIN START-UPS IT SHOULD MAKE IT FASTER

IF ITS A HP YOUR RUNNING THEN ITS IT WOULD BE A HP START THING

You could also list the programs here and we can see which particular one is causing it. It is probably an HP program for a printer or scanner.

If you want to end the process so you can be allowed to do other things

when the pop-up occurs just press these all at once

Alt-Ctrl-Delete When the task bar appears .....click on the applications tab....highlight it by clicking on it

then click on end process
