I have had a problem with explorer.exe resetting itself every time I try and open a file or folder within an original folder. I decided to scan the hard disk for errors using sfc, but when looking for the original XP installation disk (a "Home") edition, it is prompting for Windows XP Professional! Am I going mad or something? :whistling:

Thanks for your support.

Welcome! :whistling:

Would you please follow Microsoft's instructions here. There are just a few files on your computer with incorrect descriptions.
