I've got a Dell Inspiron 6000, and the brightness of the screen just got really, really dark, and I was wondering how I could make it brighter again because it's really hard to see what I'm doing when it's so dark.

1. You could plug it into an external power source.

2. You could press the Fn key on the bottom-left corner of your laptop's keyboard and the corresponding key of your laptop's keyboard that has a "sun" or "light" with an up arrow. This key may be on the arrow keys or around the top somewhere.

Note: if you do #2, your battery will drain faster
