Hi

I have used this site before where Crustyold bloke helped me sucessfully remove adware virus. I feel confident someone there can help me again!

The current problem started when my son tryed to install a webcam. It failed to work properly and susequently my computer now crashes every time I start internet explorer. I have found that I can access the web through firefox which has enabled me to now contact you for hopeful help!

On internet explorer, the error message appears from msn homepage when you try to direct it to a webpage:

Internet explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close....

The error report contents: C:/Docume 1/owner/locals1/temp/WER53fb.dir00/iexplore.exe.mdmp
and then the same again but with the final extension being: /appcompat.txt


This also happens when I try to access any stuff on my computert when it is off line. I have noticed that my computer has also slowed down to a very slow crawl when starting her up.


Any help of advice you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
