RAM Problem

I have 1028 PC3200 DDR SDRAM, when i open 3dmark06 and when to details, it shows this


i thought i was using DDR, not SDRAM.. is there a way to change it to DDR, cuz i dotn like SDRAM (slow)

you would not have SDRAM that is way old stuff and i mean really really old
and plus the info that you gave me says that you have DDR RAM


they are the same but there is a difference and all it is is that

DDR stands for Double Data Rate

so having DDR infront of SDRAM means that the RAM operates TWice as much as normal standard SDRAM

its nothing to worry about and the thing is even if you did have SDRAM you cant change it unless you buy a new motherboard and RAM the two are not compatable

but as i said its hihgly unlilely that you have SDRAM

download and install THIS
then go to the motherboard sysmbol-->SPD and that will tell you what RAM you have installed
