Things going wrong, I’m very frustrated. PLEASE HELP!

Problem 1: When I try to run some applications such as System Restore and Norton Internet Security, the windows open up with no contents. System Restore, Norton Internet Security and TurboLister (eBay auction listing software). All of them start up, but the only thing that shows up is the window with just a blank white page.
Note: Screenshot of problem is attached.

Problem 2: All WebPages and links that are JavaScript enabled are not showing up. I have the latest Sun Java installed and enabled in both browsers (Firefox and IE). But links in WebPages like this one do not load http://v5.windowsupd...t.aspx?ln=en-us the only thing that shows up after clicking those links is java script:parent.fnExpressScan();

I did a spyware scan and it turned out with zero results. I have Ad-aware, Spyware Doctor and Microsoft AntiSpyWare Beta 1, all installed on my computer so I’m protected there. A virus scan came back zero as well. Checked for Trojans, nothing there. I have no idea what’s wrong. I wanted to use System Restore to fix all this, but it’s not working. That’s why I’m asking you guys to help, so please do.

I’m guessing that all this is happening, because of something’s wrong in the registry. What do you think?

Here is my HijackThis log:
