Windows keeps restarting on its own

My computer just keeps restarting and on the restart it goes directly cheking the disk for consistency. It keeps repeating this process??!!!!!!!!!

I had this problem and a moderator here helped me get it fixed.

Search 'continual reboot' and you should find my thread.

You will need more help here though, because I jumped ahead of the moderator and ended up losing most of the stuff on my c-drive...but the thing stsrted working again.

Now I need help with another issu...I loaded the wrong op sys and now I found the correct disk & I want to ask a few questions on reloading win XP pro on top of XP home.
