Is there any way to save or burn a disk in safe mode??? Trying to save some pictures before I wipe my computer due to startup problems

No, you can't burn a CD in safe mode. The easist method is to copy everything over to a flash drive. I personally use this adapter and a bunch of SD cards i bought for my camera.
