Hello

I'm posting here on behalf of my mother. She has recently bought a brand new laptop and after being on the internet (Internet Explorer) and then closing it down, on random occasions she gets this error:

iexplore.exe - Application error

The instruction at "0x1000f05f6c" referenced memory at "0x10005f6c". The memory could not be "read".

Click on OK to terminate the program.

I know there is nothing wrong with the laptop, as I have seen this error before on a few other computers, but I've never worked out what the problem is and how to solve it.

The laptop is using the Windows XP OS.

Please help
