Hi everyone.

I use a Windows XP with service pack 2 that has become very s l o w lately. I also see the little red shield in the right of the taskbar at startup before Norton starts. On a fairly regular basis, it seems like some process will start & switch focus to a different window, then stop. And my DSL cut out for a little bit yesterday, but SBC's self support tool fixed it.

Please help! :whistling: You are my heroes!

P.S. I have, of course, followed the "required steps" listed at: http://www.geekstogo..._Log-t2852.html.
