Heres my Hijack logfile...I have done the following. I have cleaned out my cookies and temp internet files both in IE and in Windows Explorer. Ive done a search and delete in regedit. Ive run Adaware and spybot search & destroy. Ive run cw shredder. I have avg antivirus. I still have win antivirus pro popups.

The Fix


Please download VundoFix.exe to your desktop

• Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.
• Click the Scan for Vundo button.
• Once it's done scanning, click the Remove Vundo button.
• You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES
• Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
• When completed, it will prompt that it will reboot your computer, click OK.
• Please post the contents of C:\vundofix.txt and a new HiJackThis log in a reply to this thread.

Note: It is possible that VundoFix encountered a file it could not remove. In this case, VundoFix will run on reboot, simply follow the above instructions starting from "Click the Scan for Vundo button" when VundoFix appears upon rebooting.

I didn't see any log for Vundo Fix in C: Just a vundo fix backup which is all exes and dlls.

Step 1

Please re-open HiJackThis and scan. Check the boxes next to all the entries listed below.

Now close all windows other than HiJackThis, then click Fix Checked. Close HiJackThis


Step 2

Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune.
This program is for XP and Windows 2000 onlyDouble-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Under Main choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.
If you use Firefox browserClick Firefox at the top and choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.
NOTE: If you would like to keep your saved passwords, please click No at the prompt.

Step 3

Run this online scan using Internet Explorer, NOT Firefox etc.

Please go HERE to run Panda's ActiveScan

• Once you are on the Panda site click the Scan your PC button
• A new window will open...click the Check Now button
• Enter your Country
• Enter your State/Province
• Enter your e-mail address and click send
• Select either Home User or Company
• Click the big Scan Now button
• If it wants to install an ActiveX component allow it
• It will start downloading the files it requires for the scan (Note: It may take a couple of minutes)
• When download is complete, click on My Computer to start the scan
• When the scan completes, if anything malicious is detected, click the See Report button, then Save Report and save it to a convenient location. Post the contents of the ActiveScan report and a fresh HJT log here please.

Please download SysProtect Remover and save it to your desktop:

• Double-click SysProtect Remover.exe to run it.
• Hit Remove Now.
• You will receive a message that asks if you want to remove SysProtect, click YES.
• The removal takes about 10-15 seconds.
• When it's finished, you'll get a message saying: Done removing SysProtect from your computer, please reboot now.
• Please reboot your computer and then re run the Panda online scan again for me, posting its report here please

Ok, nearly there...

Boot into Safe Mode as follows..Restart your computer and as soon as it starts booting up again continuously tap F8. A menu should come up where you will be given the option to enter Safe Mode.


Using Windows Explorer (to get there right-click your Start button and go to "Explore"), please delete these files (if present):

After that, Reboot into normal mode.Rescan with Panda and post the report here please. Tell me also how your system is running now.
