I'm new and in need of help. That error message "IE has encountered an error and needs to close" pop up frequently on random sites, and consistently on myspace and youtube pages. The error signature i receive is AppName: iexplorer.exe AppVer:6.0.2800.1106 ModName:shlwapi.dll ModVer:6.0.2800.1740 Offset: 000043c0 . I regularly scan my computer with McAfee and get nothing; i have just recently started to scan with SUPERAntiSpyware, which just ends up deleting cookies. I tried to scan with housecall.trendmicro.com (three times) and everytime the window would just close itself before the scan finished. I also tried to just download Internet Explorer 7 hoping that would work, but instead it would not allow me to download and this error message always popped up "Setup could not verify the integrity of the files needed for installation. Make sure the Cryptographic service is running on this computer." and when i went to Services under administrative tools to try to find the Crypographic service, it was not there. Anywho this is my HiJackThis log and i would appreciate any help given. Thanks in advance.
