Deleted Notepad

Just upgraded from Windows 2000 to XP Pro and found that everything I wrote and had saved changed format on download so I had to keep altering the layout. Then I found it was all on Notepad...not word, so we deleted Notepad.....now I cannot get anything that was saved on wordpad from my floppies or zips.

Its driving me mad!!
help!!!!!

Did you try to do a system restore back to a date before you deleted notepad? this should get notepad back then when you can open you files we can get to looking to see if we can work on getting them to open in wordpad.
