While that was entertaining soemwhat it still did not give me the information i need to look up an ethernet driver. You have told me it is a Dell pentium 2 system with 192 Mb of ram a Nvidia video card, Sound blaster compatable sound, and a joystick.

What is needed is the model of the computer, and what ethernet adapter it has( onboard or a PCI network card). Heres some drivers that might work.

And heres some more drivers for some 3 com dell adapters.

As you can see the more information you can give us the better we can narrow down a search for the correct drivers for your computer. You cannot just use any old driver you can find as you can end up with a non-functioning hardware. Many times i have gone to the trouble to buy a ethernet card and install it just because it was easier than trying to find the correct drivers for a obscuremake and model of computer. Network cards can be bought for $10 on some websites.
