A quick note of thanks Geeks. I spent about 8 hours working with an incredibly balky system, downloading, rebooting, scanning etc. but now my machine is better than its old self.

In over two years I've been lucky with Semantic Corporate anti-virus and Microsoft adaware but an acstart17.exe error, and the goldun trojun did me in. I was using an Albany, NY Yellow Pages site and immediately after that I was infected.

One question, I had just loaded a trial version of AutoCAD LT and the acstart error seems related to that, is it?

Anyway, thanks and I recommend to all to follow the procedures in "Before you post a hiJack log..." just do it!
