Hi..

Previous to running Hijackthis! I ran ad-aware with the current defenitions and spybot. Ad-aware found a couple of hundred critical objects and I removed (deleted) them. I ran ad-aware several more times utilizing full and smart scans until nothing else came up.
Sybot found some "DSO Exploits" and I removed them..

this should get you completely cleaned up now

1. Click Here to download TheKillbox. Extract TheKillBox.exe from the zip file.

Note: If you receive a message such as: "Component 'MsComCtl.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid." when trying to run TheKillbox, download and run: http://www.javacools...ngfilesetup.exe. Then try TheKillbox again.

2. download Restore.reg and save it to your desktop. you can download this from http://www.bleepingc...e=post&id=78601

********************************************************************
The fix

You may want to print these instructions out for easier reference.

1. use the following command:

sc config rpcss depend= ""

Note: The space after the depend= is necessary.

2. start killbox up and put the below listed file In the 'Enter Full Path and Filename to Delete' box, copy and paste these entries one by one, clicking 'Find and Kill This File' after each one:

C:\WINDOWS\System32\rpcss_pl.exe

Click 'Exit' when done.

Then double click on restore.reg

3. Hello

Please look over the Following Entries I have listed, run Hijack This again and check them and then, making sure you have No Internet Explorer Windows open, including this one, Press the "Fix Checked" Button with HijackThis.

Reboot If I have specified below, and Post a Fresh HijackThis log.

Please find and zip C:\WINDOWS\System32\msasmsn7.dll and send it to spyware submissions

After you have done that then do the following:

Run the pocket Killbox again. In the 'Enter Full Path and Filename to Delete' box, copy and paste this entry, clicking 'Find and Kill This File' after each one:

C:\WINDOWS\System32\msasmsn7.dll

Click 'Exit' when done.

rescan with Hijack this if it is still there, then go ahead an select delete on reboot in killbox putting the same file in the "enter full path and filename to delete" box.

Next post a fresh Hijack this log, and let us know how your system is working :tazz:

I'm unable to delete the msasmsn7.dll in safe mode using killbox.exe
Killbox says file could not be deleted. Also cannot delete it in normal mode..Same message.

I've submitted the msasmsn7.dll in a zip file as requested.to spyware submissions.

I continue to appreciate your help..
