Mouse problem

my mouse acts really wierd at times
keeps running around the screen and i cant control it
after a while it returns to normal
but it keeps happening
would appreciate some help
dont know what the problem is

Please go to malware forum and follow the instructions at the top
Specially the CLICK HERE.
That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of
all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having
difficulty and you may not be
Then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum.

Please be patient it may take some time before one of the
experts can address you problem.

Before you go to the malware forum, what kind of mouse do you have? wireless, wired, lasermouse, ballmouse?

it just happens sometimes? not always?

If this is a wireless mouse, try resetting it. If it's USB, try changing the port it's in and make sure there's no dust or anything showing.

same thing happens to me i use ps/2 and on a couple of my old computers it did the same

i have an optical mouse
any advice?
so i dont think cleaning it is gonna help

Now back to what 4238dwight suggested. Please go to the Malware Removal Forum and follow all the steps located in the START HERE. These tools will help you clean up about 70% of problems on your own. If you still have problems after following these steps, please post a HiJackThis log in THAT forum.
