Hi folks, we need to upgrade the ram on our secondary pc, it only has 256mb at present, it is only used for the internet as it is not exactly the latest technology. the motherboard is an asus p4ge-fsc. the ram we currently have is 256mb ddr dimm 333mhz cl 2.5 pc2700. We lost the mobo book a while ago so cannot be 100% sure what is compatible. it has two ram slots on the mobo and we were wondering a, if they can take 1gig sticks or only 512mb and b, if the ram we get is a different brand can we use the new in conjunction with the old? help appreciated, thanks

Crucial guarantee compatibility

Put the motherboard maker in manufacturer

You can use crucial to determine the correct component then source it anywhere if you wish
