No, I don't use it and yes it can go. Two things.

I've not gotten it out before when I tried.

The time line for it being there does not match the start of the update problem.

Still, if you think it is worthwhile, I'll be happy to see the back of it. One less thing and all.

IF YOU WANT TO REMOVE IT DO IT FROM YOUR ADD AND REMOVE PROGRAM AFTER ITS UNINSTALLED YOU RUN CCLEANER AND REBOOT

REMOVING PROGRAMS ITS BEST TO DO IN SAFEMODE WHAT THE CLEANING DOES IS PICK UP ANY LEFT OVER PIECES THAT MAY BE LEFT BEHIND

It is gone from the add/delete populated list, but still shows in the lower left hand corner as loaded.

Ran the registry cleaner and it is still in the corner.

I navigated to the URL in your message. The Google Ads cover the text and I can't tell what I'm doing. I'll try again in the morning.

Which programme is loading the icon?

If you look in programme files and find its folder, move it to My Documents and reboot

I downloaded unlocker and ran the zip.

the "wand" is in the lower right hand side of the screen.

When right clicking on the start button, the unlocker shows, but then Zinio does not.

Unlocker worked fine, but zenio is still there after a reboot. I've done a search on zenio and deleted everythng it found, but zinio is still there.
