  • At the final dialogue box click Finish and it will launch HijackThis.
  • Close HijackThis.
Download ewido anti-spyware from HERE and save that file to your desktop.
This is a 30 day trial of the program
  • Once you have downloaded ewido anti-spyware, locate the icon on the desktop and double-click it to launch the set up program.

Hi Robertoloco,

That was quite a large Ewido report. Most of the entries that were cleaned were mainly cookies and there was also a few trojans. Ewido cleaned them like it should.

The use of Peer to Peer programs are usual channels for infections. Would you kindly remove the programs used for downloading these from your computer or refrain from using them whilst we are cleaning your system. You can read more about this here for an example.

Please download the Killbox by Option^Explicit and Save it to your desktop.

Note: In the event you already have Killbox, this is a new version that I need you to download.

Please re-open HiJackThis and scan. Check the boxes next to all the entries listed below.

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [b21075a6.exe] C:\WINDOWS\system32\b21075a6.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [dc8a65ed.exe] C:\Documents and Settings\Roberto\Configuración local\Datos de programa\dc8a65ed.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [b21075a6.exe] C:\Documents and Settings\Roberto\Configuración local\Datos de programa\b21075a6.exe

Now close all windows other than HiJackThis, then click Fix Checked then close HijackThis.

Restart your computer and as soon as it starts booting up again continuously tap F8. A menu should come up where you will be given the option to enter Safe Mode.

Once in Safe Mode, please double-click Killbox.exe to run it.
  • Select: Delete on Reboot then Click on the All Files button.
  • Please copy the file paths below to the clipboard by highlighting ALL of them and pressing CTRL + C (or, after highlighting, right-click and choose copy):

    C:\WINDOWS\system32\b21075a6.exe
    C:\Documents and Settings\Roberto\Configuración local\Datos de programa\dc8a65ed.exe
    C:\Documents and Settings\Roberto\Configuración local\Datos de programa\b21075a6.exe
  • Return to Killbox, go to the File menu, and choose Paste from Clipboard.
  • Click the red-and-white Delete File button. Click Yes at the Delete on Reboot prompt. Click OK at any PendingFileRenameOperations prompt (and please let me know if you receive this message!).
If your computer does not restart automatically, please restart it manually.

If you receive a message such as: "Component 'MsComCtl.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid." when trying to run Killbox, click here to download and run missingfilesetup.exe. Then try Killbox again.

Once the computer has rebooted, please do an online scan with Kaspersky WebScanner. This must to be done using Internet Explorer as it uses an ActiveX control.

Click on Kaspersky Online Scanner

You will be promted to install an ActiveX component from Kaspersky, Click Yes.
  • The program will launch and then begin downloading the latest definition files:
  • Once the files have been downloaded click on NEXT
  • Now click on Scan Settings
  • In the scan settings make that the following are selected:
    • Scan using the following Anti-Virus database:
    Extended (if available otherwise Standard)
    • Scan Options:
    Scan Archives
    Scan Mail Bases
  • Click OK
  • Now under select a target to scan:Select My Computer
  • This will program will start and scan your system.
  • The scan will take a while so be patient and let it run.
  • Once the scan is complete it will display if your system has been infected.
    • Now click on the Save as Text button:
  • Save the file to your desktop.
  • Copy and paste that information in your next post.
Please post the results of the Kaspersky report along with a fresh HijackThis log and let me know how your computer is behaving.

Thanks.

Hi Robertoloco,

And The online virus report is attached in the next reply

Did we forget something? :whistling: I need to see those results before we do anything further.

Please post the Kaspersky results when you can.

Thanks.

Hi Robertoloco,

800k does sound rather large. Could you please post the contents of the file over several posts. I realise that this method may be tedious, but I would prefer it if it could be done this way. You may have to be carefull to check that you start each of the posts immediately after where the the previous one finishes.

Thanks.

Hi Robertoloco,

Did you read my comments on the use of Peer to Peer file sharing programs in Post #8 ?

The P2P program that you are using is most definately infected and its use is most likely the source of the infections that exist on your computer. We will have to disable and remove that program to enable us to clean your system.

You will need to print out a copy of these instructions, or save them to NotePad and put a shortcut to the file on the desktop so that you can refer to while you complete this procedure.

Please make sure that you follow these instructions exactly as listed.

Please open HiJackThis and scan. Check the boxes next to all the entries listed below.

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [b21075a6.exe] C:\WINDOWS\system32\b21075a6.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [b21075a6.exe] C:\Documents and Settings\Roberto\Configuración local\Datos de programa\b21075a6.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Warez] "C:\Archivos de programa\Warez1\Warez.exe" /minimized

Now close all windows other than HiJackThis (including any browser windows), then click Fix Checked.

Restart your computer and as soon as it starts booting up again continuously tap F8. A menu should come up where you will be given the option to enter Safe Mode. If your login does not have Administrator priviledges please log on with an account that does.

Please go to Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and remove the following (if present):

Warez 3.0
Warez P2P Client 2.8

Please double-click Killbox.exe that you downloaded previously to run it.
  • Select: Delete on Reboot then Click on the All Files button.
  • Please copy the file paths below to the clipboard by highlighting ALL of them and pressing CTRL + C (or, after highlighting, right-click and choose copy):

Once you are back in Normal Mode Please run another Kaspersky Online Scan to ensure that we have removed all the infected files.

Please do an online scan with Kaspersky WebScanner

Click on Kaspersky Online Scanner

You will be promted to install an ActiveX component from Kaspersky, Click Yes.
  • The program will launch and then begin downloading the latest definition files:
