This is an easy one for you geeks, but me, that's a different story. I just got an Acer laptop, and was installing the free eTrust internet security suite that came with it. When I installed it, I got an error message that said "excluder init failed (error opening exclusions database)." So is my laptop protected now or should I try uninstalling the software and try installing it again?

Thank you.

Use add and remove to uninstall it, run disc clean up

Re-install and update it, check it confirms it is updated
