hello my fellow geeks =)

few days ago i did a spyware search & destory, there was one spyware called Window internet secruity something i couldnt recall it. then right after i delete it, my internet wont able to search websites. and it also cost my internet connection manager to courrupted or something. There was Microsoft visual c++ runtime library window pop when i try to click the internet connection manager. Runtime Error program: C:\program files\ sbc self support tool\bin\mad.exe?? it always work until i did that spyware cleaning. Then i did a system restore, my internet works fine again. And today i use ewido to do a clean it detected 7 infection, the report only showed the 3-4 cookies removed...i cant find the other infection?? Then again, my internet wont work again.

heres my hijackthis log

Hi Fusion_Inc,

I just read your post in the waiting Room, which was a bit confusing.
Can you use System Restore to get your computer back in a state where you can connect to the internet.
Then run Spybot S&D. Don't let it fix anything, just post the report.

I think you misread the output of the scan. :whistling:

Regards,

That warning from Spybot S&D means that one of the useraccounts has lowered his security settings for IE

In IE click Tools\Internet Options\Advanced tab > in the Security section uncheck "Allow active content to run in files on My Computer"

Glad you sorted it out.
