Have IE browser which works fine until I go to close it and get email through Eudora for example or try to use some other application. The computer hangs even after the IE page disappears and then when hitting "ctrl alt del", the message is that IE isn't responding. Sometimes if I click "reactivate", IE will really close and I can continue with other applications but most of the time, it doesn't actually close and results in a computer shut down if I hit "ctrl alt del" several times. Have run scan disc many times to find errors and fix without success for this IE no-closure problem.

Any suggestions as to how to get IE to really close???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
