Hey guys, thanks for the help in advance, installed the Pre-RC1, have a quick question, does it expire? I am an official tester, so I activated it. I don't see a time date or a time bomb, maybe someone here would now.

I also installed it, I would expect for it to expire in several months or so because RC1 will be released soon.

I am sure Pre-RC1 will expire the same time as Beta 2 and RC1 (June 1st 2007)

Well according to Microsoft it expires on June 1st:

Time-limited software
Windows Vista Beta 2 (and RC1) is time-limited, pre-release software that will expire on June 1, 2007.

But in the actual OS (somewhere, not quite sure where it is though) it says May 31st. Somebody took a screenshot showing the expiration Date:

If you are meaning removing the expiration date, that is illegal and won't be discused here, if its even possible.
The purpose of a beta is to work out the bugs. And then to buy the final version afterwards (thats why it expires).
thanx
