Tonight I tried to log on to www.kbon.com, radio station in Louiisiana. Normally I have been able to listen to this stations through Media Player , after buffering is complete, but tonight I received this dialoggue box advisement.

"Windows Media Player Cannot play any items in the playlist. For additional information, right click on time that cannot be played, and then clik Error Details. "

I right cliked on KBON FM but not drop down comes on with "error details"

I tried a restart, and then a complete shutdown and reboot, but to no avail, same message.

Should I uninistall and re-install Windows Media Player 10 or what.

The connection speed should not matter

I used to play it on Windows Media 9, and then 10 up to last night.

I don't know if it will play other stations, because the only other station I listen to is KCIX which opens and plays in its own window, not Media Player.

But I have my stepdaughter on yahoo IM right now and she's playing it on Media Player 10.

I seem to be going in circles right now. So I will back uup a bit. I did a restore point back to Monday, but it didn't help. Now when I go to add/remove programs, I don't see Windows Media Player on the populated list. The only thing I see there that has any reference to anaything is MSN Music Assistant.

Can I download Media Player 10 or 11. Now if is not a program is it a component. If it is a program and its n ot on add/remove progam list, and its not there, how come I can play CD-Roms through that Windows Media Window? Either its there or it isnt.

I have intention of downloding either 10 or 11 tomorrow.

Also my internet provider is in the process of upgrading my dial-up to accelerated dial-up. Could this be causing a problem.

Also could there be a functon in the My Music folder that may have been accidentally deleted?
