i've jus come to know bout somethin called WEB2.0. here's wat i got off the web:

"Web 2.0 is basically the web reinvented in a shed of more colourful and glossy spectre. With added jest of Ajax, Javascript and XML included…There’s rounded corners everywhere and big, vision friendly text written in Verdana, Tahoma or Trebuchet MS..."

cud someone shed some light on this?

let us also have a good conversation here, it'll help everyone.

dunno why, but my guts tell me that it isnt something to be fond of.....

web 2.0 is basically just a buzz word that tries to encompass all the "new" stuff going on with the internet (as social networking sites, wikis, communication tools, etc...) it's not actually an "it" as much as it is a term that oriely used to describe the new trends

Its exactly what Dsnette said, its just the new tools available to developers that became popular about the same time and the trend in the types and function of websites that have been labelled web 2.0. Alot of the stuff was so different from what came before that people felt it needed a name.

MS has nothing to do with the internet, most servers are linux based , MS make a browser that alot use but they dont use it for spying themselves.
