i need to keep my stuff private from my bro. ive tryed the tools-folder options and and uncliking the file sharing thing tab and yet it still dont pop up. its for my personal use on my computer im not tring to do any thing bad

If you right click a folder, click properties, click sharing, you should be able to tick make this folder private, click apply then it will ask you to set a password

Anything you put in the folder can only be accessed with the password

If it is a folder you create you could also right click it, click properties, put the dot in hidden and click apply
